Decorating St. Joseph’s Centre
St. Joseph’s Parish Centre Committee will be leading some refreshing and re-decorating of the Parish Centre on Saturday, 17th May, from 9am to around 5pm. The focus will be on painting the main room an toilets. We are looking for volunteers from the parish to help throughout the day. Materials and Safety equipment will be provided and there will be a briefing to ensure everyone’s safety. This is a part of our ongoing mission to update the Centre for the use of the Parish and broader community.
The centre is at the heart of our parish and community, it us your welcoming space where parish groups, community events, activities and celebrations take place every week. In 2024/2025, the running costs continue to rise – covering heating, lighting, cleaning and essential upkeep.
The centre earns income through room hire at £20 per hour, helping to meet these costs. Here are the details:

- Development – Toilets : £ 4,320
- Income: £12,755
With utility and maintenance bills increasing, the hire rate may be reviewed later this year. This is YOUR centre, a place for fellowship, support and growth in faith.
Cleaner Vacancy
We have a vacancy for a cleaner at our centre. We are all stewards of this space; your prayers, use of the centre, your voluntary contributions and your support help it to flourish and continue to develop. Thank you for your support and prayers.
