Sacraments

Baptisms 

 Baptisms are celebrated in St Joseph’s on the first Saturday of each month. Prior to the day, parents are required to come to two short meetings on Sundays after mass. If you wish your child to be baptised please contact Fr Frank Ryan. 

Reconciliation 

 Every year the Year 3 children in St Joseph’s Primary school are prepared for the sacrament of Reconciliation. If your child does not attend St Joseph’s but you wish them to join the programme please contact Father Frank Ryan. 
Confession Times: Saturday 11:00 – 11:30am and 5:00 – 5:30pm

 

First Holy Communion

 As above, children preparing for Reconciliation are prepared for their First Holy Communion at the same time. If your child does not attend St Joseph’s but you wish them to join the programme please contact Father Frank Ryan.

 

Confirmation

 Approximately every two years in our parish, young people aged 11+ are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Keep an eye on the church newsletter for sign up information or register your interest with either Fr Frank Ryan or Wendy Spillane.

 

Matrimony

 If you wish to be married in St Joseph’s church please arrange a meeting with Fr Frank Ryan.

 If you are considering entering religious life please speak to Fr Frank Ryan
