Our parish toddler group “Little Lights“ runs every Tuesday in term time from 9am – 11am.
The group’s mission statement is:
“We aim to provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment every week, where families can bring their babies and toddlers to play, have fun, find support and share Christian values”
We charge £2 for the 1st child with a parent or guardian and 50p for each additional adult or child over the age of 6 months.
This includes a hot drink and biscuits for the parent and toast, fruit and a drink for the children. Please endeavor to have the correct change.
In addition to providing a room full of toys, our stay and play sessions also provide activities such as music time and crafts. The group is aimed at children from birth to pre-school age and their families.
We have a strictly enforced maximum capacity of 20 children and we will continue to admit people after 9am until our maximum number has been reached at which point our door will be locked and we will be unable to admit any more children in that session. We apologise for any inconvenience and no disrespect is intended. We simply do not have the space to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend at this time.
The group is run by volunteers on behalf of the Parish. Many of us have children at St Joseph’s Catholic School and look forward to welcoming you into the St Joseph’s family. We love to see familiar faces and welcome lots of new ones too!
Could you volunteer your time to help us out?
We are always looking for additional volunteers to assist in setting up the room on a Tuesday morning and also help out during the session.
