Journey With The Pope – 28/7/2020

TUESDAY JULY 28, 2020

“Those who fully pledge themselves to the Kingdom are those who are willing to stake everything, who are courageous… The building of the Kingdom requires not only the grace of God, but also the active willingness of humanity. Everything is done by grace, everything! We need only have the willingness to receive it, not to resist grace: grace does everything but it takes “my” responsibility, “my” willingness … and who is responsible for this?

Pope Francis

ANGELUS, JULY 26, 2020

Tuesday of the Seventeenth Week in Ordinary Time

Psalm 79

For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.

Remember not against us the iniquities of the past;
may your compassion quickly come to us,
for we are brought very low.

For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.

Help us, O God our savior,
because of the glory of your name;
Deliver us and pardon our sins
for your name’s sake.

For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.

Let the prisoners’ sighing come before you;
with your great power free those doomed to death.
Then we, your people and the sheep of your pasture,
will give thanks to you forever;
through all generations we will declare your praise.

For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.

Blessings from Team MISSIO!
