Holy Week 2019

Here are the times for Masses and services during Holy Week.
This Holy week is the high point of our year – the completion and the new beginning of our celebration of living in Christ. It is a week of two halves: In the first half, starting Palm Sunday, we complete our Lenten preparation of ‘dying to sin’, so that in the second half, the ‘great Three-Days’, we can rise to new life with Christ and in him.
Palm Sunday, 14th April
- 11am – Palm Sunday Mass
Tuesday, 16th April
- 7pm – Vigil Mass for Spy Wednesday
Maundy Thursday, 18th April
- 7pm – The Mass of Our Lord’s Supper. Commissioning of Eucharist Ministers and renewal of Commitment to the Eucharistic Ministry.
Good Friday, 19th April
- 11am – 12pm – Confessions
- 3pm – The Celebration of the Lord’s Passion
Holy Saturday, 20th April
- 11am – “In the Eye of the Storm”. Presentation & Discussion in the Presbytery.
- 8pm – Easter Vigil Mass
*Please note there will be no Holy Hour, confessions or 6pm Mass on Holy Saturday
Easter Sunday, 21st April
- 11am at St Joseph’s – Easter Morning Mass.
(Followed by an Easter Egg Hunt in the church grounds for the children!)
